Senior Associate, Change Management

The Commercial Bank Communications and Change Management team wants you!

As a Change Management Leader in Capital One's Commercial Bank, you will be part of a smart, talented team responsible for supporting leaders and associates on the most impactful changes happening within the organization. The team delivers change management practices to a wide variety of change efforts within the Commercial Bank centered around transformation - from process improvements to technology deployments and many efforts in between. You will partner with subject matter experts to get up to speed on the changes, complete impact assessments to understand scope and scale, and develop a thoughtful change implementation plan with the ultimate goal of achieving adoption and creating the best associate and client experience.

A successful candidate will have proven experience and knowledge of change management and communications methodologies. The candidate should also possess strong influencing and problem-solving skills, as well as exceptional communication skills with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute new ideas to the team to challenge "the way it's been done before"
  • Be curious about emerging technology and concepts like design thinking, agile project management, engaging marketing strategies
  • Keep track of your own progress with change deliverables in a fast paced environment, and provide relevant updates to internal team and leadership, when required
  • Build competencies as a Change Practitioner and serve as a champion for change across Commercial to help others deliver improvements that increase associate engagement and transfer knowledge
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to conduct change impact assessments, change plans, ideas and reasoning for behavior change, readiness, and associate experience
  • Track channel metrics to monitor adoption and effectiveness, to identify resistance, performance gaps, and to enact action plans
  • Keep websites and documentation accurate and engaging for all audiences

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in Change Management, Communications or Marketing

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience with organizational change efforts
  • PROSCI certified
  • 1+ years of experience with JIRA or other Agile software solutions

How our hybrid model works:

This role is hybrid meaning associates typically spend about half their time (2-3 days per week) in-person at one of our offices listed on this job posting. Monday and Fridays are enterprise- wide virtual work days. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are in-person days for associates to spend time together working in our beautifully-designed team areas.
