That's why our team is looking to add a Risk and Compliance Manager to our Central Operations Team.

As a Risk and Compliance Manager in Central Operations, you'll play a key role in ensuring that our broader GWS organization remains well-managed and in compliance with organizational, enterprise, and legal requirements.

The Ideal Candidate Should:

  • Demonstrate strong critical thinking and judgment with the ability to adapt in real time and provide clear and concise recommendations in an ever-changing environment.
  • Have excellent organizational skills, including the ability to organize, prioritize and coordinate a variety of work and tasks with attention to detail.
  • Be a team player who seeks out and appreciates diverse perspectives, looks for alternative approaches, and incorporates past experience with available information to make recommendations.
  • Deliver consistent and high quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relentlessly prioritize to ensure that the highest leverage work is always getting done.
  • Thrive in uncertainty. You are comfortable with ambiguity and enjoy cutting through distractions to discern the core priorities and create structure where none exists.
  • Have very strong written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across multiple departments to understand processes and drive results.
  • Bring subject matter experts, stakeholders and partners to the discussion to achieve superior results.
  • Lead regularly scheduled risk assessments (e.g., process level assessments, risk and control self assessment, etc.).
  • Build strategies for new control oversight categories (e.g., tech, finance, etc.) and implement / test.
  • Monitor for new applicable laws and implement processes / procedures to comply.
  • Lead partner audits and provide strong support for regulatory / GWS audits.
  • Serve as the primary GWS liaison between ES Risk, Compliance, and Legal for international expansions.
  • Participate in and execute other special projects for the team on an as needed basis.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or military experience
  • At least 3 years of risk management experience
  • At least 3 years of project management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of risk management experience
  • At least 3 years of physical security or corporate real estate experience
  • At least 2 years of control development and testing experience
  • At least 2 years of audit experience
  • Experience with PRIME / FUSE
  • BPM certification
