As the Training Coordinator, you'll be the primary point of contact for training logistics, support, and coordination for American Funds Training & Development on our Operations Group team. Working across the American Funds Service Group (AFSG), the mission is to create exceptional value and ease in the service experience for clients while fostering an engaging environment for associates who are the foundation of all we do. AFSG is comprised of over 2,400 associates located in 4 offices across the US - Irvine, CA, San Antonio, TX, Carmel, IN and Norfolk, VA. In AFSG, you'll be an integral part of that mission.

Your scope will include proactively evaluating training and classroom needs as well as collaborating with various team members, across multiple departments, to ensure the business needs are met. You will also create and maintain training schedules as well as set up course offerings in our training systems. Using tools like our Learning Measurement System (LMS), you will monitor and update the supported curricula and content, maintain associate records for completion, act as the primary point of contact for LMS-related questions, and research/resolve technical issues. You will create and maintain processes for coordination work.

  • You demonstrate working knowledge of training systems (e.g., WorkDay Learning, SharePoint Online, Workfront Work Management systems, NovoEd, etc.).

San Antonio Base Salary Range: $53,360-$85,376

Hampton Roads Base Salary Range: $54,758-$87,613

Indianapolis Base Salary Range: $56,834-$90,934

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
