As Project Manager in GPSD's Product Launch and Delivery, you will play a key role on the Global Product Strategy & Development (GPSD) team and will be responsible for leading the delivery of product launches of varying complexity and type, and the associated phases, including: planning, assessments, organization, communication, implementation and management of corresponding project teams. You will ensure we have maximized value by ensuring connection to overall product strategy throughout the product launch phases and will focus on improving CG's launch and execution capabilities globally by creating seamless connections between product development, planning and delivery capabilities.

You will partner with GPSD leaders to lead, develop and oversee delivery of a portfolio of product development and launch initiatives aligned to strategic business plans. You will lead efforts to develop and analyze options to solve strategic business problems as it relates to product launches, and partner with stakeholders to recommend appropriate approaches for solving business challenges and ensuring alignment with global product priorities. You will develop subject matter expertise in detailed end to end product launch processes and requirements and understand the impacts to the various enterprise teams. You will continually look for ways to scale product launch capabilities, identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities and will contribute to the development of GPSD's launch and delivery center of excellence.

  • You have a minimum of seven years of project management experience with a track record of successful execution of assigned projects to deliver business outcomes based on key drivers (i.e., time, budget, resources, scope)
  • Experience working in the asset management industry (e.g., mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, collective investment trusts, private funds) and/or familiarity with a wide variety of investment products and vehicles would be strongly preferred for this role
  • You have experience working with product development, product planning and/or product launch leading successful business or technology enterprise projects from initiation through deployment
  • You are a skilled communicator and can facilitate ambiguous and challenging discussions. You've fine-tuned your communication style to connect with a variety of stakeholders including executive-level stakeholders
  • You've partnered cross-functionally to solve complex problems and have the confidence and courage to influence others and add value with a focus on understanding and managing the impact of change
  • You've had previous success with strategic and/or operational project delivery experience (business strategy, technology systems, vendor management), and have the ability to apply and lead flexible delivery models to execute the work
  • When developing and executing a plan, you consider long term impacts and make a personal commitment to exploring diverse perspectives and dissenting viewpoints with a continuous improvement mindset
  • You thrive on challenges and enjoy partnering with others to achieve meaningful results

Southern California Base Salary Range: $148,045-$236,872

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
