We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Product Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of customer needs, business strategy, and technical innovation. You will be responsible for defining product vision, managing roadmaps, and driving the development and launch of software, hardware, algorithmic, or platform service products. This role will be exclusively focused on Portfolio Management tools.
Key Responsibilities
Define Vision and Customer Needs
- Own and drive the process of gathering, understanding, and documenting customer needs.
- Use customer feedback, competitive benchmarks, and business metrics to inform product direction.
- Drive long-term vision through innovation and experimentation.
- Support in-person customer research and translate insights into actionable product features.
- Identify iterative improvements and distill customer feedback into clear tasks.

Product Planning and Development
- Define customer goals and business requirements for product releases.
- Ensure implementation aligns with product goals; adjust as needed.
- Develop user stories and business requirements.
- Support user experience design and participate in sprint reviews.
- Monitor marketing and support programs post-launch.
- Own the success of the product development lifecycle.
Launch
- Support go-to-market planning and monitor customer impact.
- Participate in post-launch reviews and integrate feedback into future iterations.
- Accountable for achieving launch goals.
Operate
- Monitor and respond to customer feedback; prioritize significant issues.
- Continuously improve operations through metrics, automation, and self-service.
- Collaborate with BI and development teams to build performance reports.
- Support internal forums and product documentation.
- Identify and communicate feature risks and performance issues to leadership.
Team Collaboration
- Communicate product vision and influence team members.
- Build a strong internal network and contribute to resource planning.
Technical Product Management (Additional Responsibilities)
This role includes ownership of technical products or products targeting technical users:
- Translate customer technical requirements for development teams.
- Interface with system architects and sourcing teams to evaluate solutions.
- Collaborate on scalable architecture and technical design.
- Recommend technical features and participate in prioritization.
- Support QA/testing and technical trade-off decisions.
- Develop technical marketing materials (e.g., code samples, white papers).
- Define and monitor key technical metrics (e.g., latency, conversion rates).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience managing and shipping highly technical products.
- Industry background in Financial Services.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and product lifecycle management.
- Ability to balance customer needs with technical constraints.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with platform services, APIs, or infrastructure products.
- Familiarity with data analytics tools and performance monitoring.
- Background in customer research and usability testing.
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
