Job description:

The Capgemini Engineering Services Software Expert Seller for the Life Sciences sector is responsible for researching and pursuing new business leads for business growth. The role involves active coordination across teams and demands outstanding inter-personal skills. The expert seller's priority is to work on new business proposals and presentations which are a persuasive representation of an organization's strategy, products and services. The types of selling include, solution selling with a focus on value associated with Software Product Engineering, Embedded Software and Industry Solution Services. Travel required up to 50%.

  • Develop and promote key value propositions associated within the Engineering Software portfolio to internal and external stakeholders within specific Industry domains.
  • Develop territory, account, and opportunity strategies to gain access to new buyers and sponsors within a set of new and existing accounts.
  • Drive pipeline generation through OI techniques.
  • Ownership of the creation, progression, and closure of new ERD Software opportunities.
  • Showcase deep understanding of end customer's objectives, business goals and requirements to better align our capabilities and offerings to provide value.
  • Implement key "entry point" sales plays to target specific customer personas and Build tight linkages with, ERD SW Solution Architects, Pre Sales, Marketing and Delivery teams and work enthusiastically within the Capgemini ecosystem cross functional teams to ensure we are aligned on industry and account strategies.
  • Travel up to 50%.

Required Skills

    • Strong background in solution selling and quantification of business value, relationship mapping and management, ability to develop and deliver sales presentations, negotiate contracts, and handle objections.
    • Understanding of the Life Sciences industry with existing contacts, core principles associated with Software Digital Product Engineering principles - User Stories / Story Points, Backlog, Agile Lifecycle, Full Stack, Programming Language Knowledge.
    • Market awareness - staying up to date on trends, competitors and use of Salesforce or CRM.
    • Experience in large deal constructs and strategy's ability to navigate larger complex matrix environment.
    • Won and led deals of $5-10 million independently, focused on value selling and high-value models of selling.
    • Design, develop and deliver industry value propositions as it relates to Software Engineering supporting key industry verticals.
