IT Transformation Director - Azure Cloud Native COE

Dublin, GA

Job Location: Atlanta, Dallas, Chicago (hybrid)

Job description:

  • Engage with clients to drive large scale transformation programs and large deals leveraging Azure native services, principles and well architected frameworks for business and engineering applications, infrastructure, data, ERP, and operations.
  • Expertise with Azure and Cloud Native technologies and services, including the products, sales organization/approach, services, and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with our strategy teams to shape the Azure based Cloud Native strategy and transformation for our customers to adopt new operating models and transform their business to a platform based approach
  • Focus on priority Capgemini accounts with a large Azure presence growing their mindshare and adoption of Azure and services for Capgemini
  • Be a recognized trusted advisor and thought leader on the Azure Cloud Native Transformation as well as Platform Engineering topics
  • Drive Cloud 3.0 adoption and large-scale cloud native services on Azure such as Kubernetes, Hashicorp, and GitLab
  • Drive towards new Cloud Native ways of working such as Site Reliability Engineering, GitOps, Modern Engineering, and Modern Testing
  • Develop advanced offerings in the Azure Cloud Native space specialized to the industry vertical - examples being POS Modernization

Required Skills:

  • 15+ years of Professional Services, Business Development and/or partner management experience
  • 15+ years experience both in technical and consulting roles including Cloud transformation programs
  • Strong business and technical proficiencies, and client engagement skills to provide the highest-level consultation to sales teams, prospects, and clients to achieve sales goals.
  • Understanding of services sales and partner-based selling
  • Understanding of business applications landscape and operating models with Cloud Native technologies such as containers, microservices, APIs.
  • Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and technical skills. Proven ability to drive complex projects to completion.
  • Travel: Ability to travel up to 25% to engage with clients and internal teams across the region.
