As a Technical Lead, you will possess strong industrial automation and control systems deployment experience, and work with project managers, systems integrators, automation engineers, business analysts, and IT/OT teams to define technical requirements, drive the development and execution of project plans for the delivery of IIoT implementations at multiple manufacturing sites using the Ignition Platform.
Responsibilities:
1.Leverage your understanding of the enterprise control system integration technology stack to define a reference architecture for deployment across multiple discrete and process manufacturing sites.
2.Work with a cross-functional team including Project Managers, Business Analysts, and System Integrators to define technical requirements, develop project plans, and deploy the technology infrastructure required to execute machine connectivity, industrial automation, and systems integration projects at multiple sites.
3.Provide technical support to IT/OT teams to ensure the availability of computing and networking resources for deploying and integrating Ignition, SQL, and Kepware servers to achieve connectivity between shop floor equipment and the SQL database
4.Ensure adherence to the Ignition Reference Architecture for the solution architectures deployed at each site.
5.Attend daily calls, answer technical queries of multiple teams around Ignition IIoT Platform, and resolve issues in the end-to end stack from networking to firewalls to machine connectivity for each site
6.Work with the Solution Architect to define and refine and technology roadmap for deploying machine connectivity solutions using the Ignition Platform

Minimum Qualifications:
1.BS / MS in Science or Engineering with knowledge of computing systems and plant floor operations
2.10+ years of experience with strong technical skills in the IT/OT/IIoT domain
3.10+ years of experience leading the end-to-end deployment of industrial automation and systems integration projects in a manufacturing environment
4.Experience working with the Ignition Platform (SCADA, Perspective, and MQTT, OPC UA)
5.Experience working with Kepware or Matrikon industrial machine connectivity platforms.
6.Basic networking, network and application security skills including firewall configuration, and secure communication using SSL certificates.
7.Basic cloud computing skills using Microsoft Azure

Preferred Qualifications:
1.Ignition Certification (Core or Gold)
2.Experience working with Industrial Automation platforms (PLCs, DSCs and/or Process Historians)
3.Proficiency in industrial network communications protocols including Ethernet, Ethernet/IP, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Modbus, MTConnect, BACnet and Profibus
4.Understanding of the ISA-95/Perdue Reference Model for Industrial Automation and Control Systems
5.Smart Factory implementation to enable machine data collection and analytics.
6.Industrial control system design and architecture
