The VP, Client Relations for Institutions is responsible for leading the client service team and delivering exceptional service to our institutional clients around Proxy voting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a client services team comprised of research and platform SMEs to onboard clients to Proxy Edge and oversee the delivery of superior client services
- Serve as a senior point of contact for key clients, resolve escalated issues and develop strong, trust-based relationships with clients. Work with the Head of Custom Policy to support clients on both voting execution and custom policy/data related questions
- Manage the client services team, train and coach associates and create career paths for high potential associates
- Along with the GM and account management, devise and implement strategies to enhance client satisfaction, retention, and lifetime value.

- Assist in the development and execution of strategic plans to expand the institutional business line.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the institutional voting space and experience in leading teams
- Must have deep knowledge of how investment stewardship teams work and what are critical concerns of theirs
- Experience in managing client facing teams preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, effective at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to articulate and convey complex ideas and strategies to internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated consultative and influencing skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA or a related advanced degree preferred.
