Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and provide feedback on system infrastructure, assisting with design and implementation
  • Develop fully automated pipelines for building, deploying, and testing applications across multiple environments
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and delivery in both cloud and on-premises environments
  • Become familiar with the product codebase and architecture, and collaborate with hardware and software vendors for support globally
  • Participate in cross-functional projects, working collaboratively with international teams to address issues, release schedules, and system administration matters
  • Lead by example through professional conduct and actions

  • Hands-on experience with system automation using Python, PowerShell, or automation frameworks such as Chef or Terraform to deliver infrastructure-as-code solutions
  • Ability to containerize applications and manage artifact repositories
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for deployment issues, with a focus on automation over manual intervention
  • Experience with CI/CD workflows and tools (such as Jenkins or GitLab)
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts and principles, including application routing
  • Administration or engineering experience with Linux, Windows, or similar operating systems
  • Demonstrated strong operations and service delivery skills, working effectively with distributed (onshore and offshore) teams
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Groovy, Python, or Ansible to automate manual tasks
  • Experience in dynamic Agile environments, including effective project planning and estimation to adapt to evolving requirements and ensure timely delivery
  • Familiarity with cloud-based solutions, preferably AWS or GCP
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git
  • Demonstrated strong written and presentation skills to effectively communicate technical concepts and project updates to team members, stakeholders and senior management
Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant cloud certifications (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
  • Linux or Windows certifications
  • Experience supporting financial systems in a global computing environment
  • Proven record of success in a matrix/multicultural organization with demonstrated increasing responsibilities
  • Experience tuning and troubleshooting for performance
Experience supporting and troubleshooting trading applications, including high availability, disaster recovery, vulnerability management, incident management, patching, and change
