Broadridge is growing! We are currently recruiting for a Fulfillment Clerk to join our dynamic Production Operations team in South Windsor.
Work Mode: This is an on-site role that will be assigned to a Broadridge location where you will work 100% of the time.
Fulfillment clerks are responsible for the specialized processing of the company's products. Activities may include inserting or de-inserting envelopes; printing detail sheets; collecting and validating materials; collating and assembling kits; and weighing, metering, and sorting envelopes. Special Handlers may use personal computers and a variety of software applications or vendor-provided equipment to track, process, and/or complete their work.Associates move and prepare mail for pick up or delivery and may complete and file appropriate paperwork. They may use personal computers and a variety of software applications, machines, and equipment to track, process, complete and/or dispatch work or coordinate freight. Sr. Special Handlers may provide work direction, assistance, and training to new associates and/or check the work of others. Level of knowledge, skills, experience, and performance distinguish a Special Handler from a Sr. Special Handler.

Responsibilities:
- Collate and assemble orders, inserts statements manually
- Follow all special handling instructions
- Prepare and sort mail correctly, domestic and international
- Operate manual and semi-automatic equipment as required (bindery, folding, etc.)
- May perform other duties/responsibilities as needed or assigned.
- Related work experience with strong time-management and interpersonal skills
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to interact and effectively communicate with team members, internal and external, and liaisons
- Proficient in Microsoft office and Computer skills
- Proficient in the English language
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Minimum of 3-5 years in production environment, preferred
- Associates degree preferred
- Flexibility in work schedule, based on volume needs, which could require weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
- Ability to walk, stand, sit, bend, kneel, squat, push, pull and reach throughout duration of assigned 12-hour shifts
- Promote a professional work environment and adhere to all Broadridge policies and procedures
