Position Summary:

Milvexian is an investigational agent intended to address several indications in the thrombosis disease landscape. All Phase 3 studies are with expected to be initiated by 1H 2023. Milvexian is projected to be a multi-billion-dollar product and considered critical asset for BMS expanding Cardiovascular portfolio. Bristol Myers Squibb entered a collaboration with Janssen pharmaceuticals in 2018 to co-develop and co-commercialize milvexian. Both companies, as an alliance successfully completed Phase 2 program and are collaborating to prepare for Phase 3 initiation and strategically plan for commercialization success in the future.

The Associate Director, WW Commercialization milvexian, will play a critical role on the Joint WW Brand Team (JWWBT) and WW Development Working Group (DWG) in ensuring commercial insights are identified, shared and applied to drive value differentiation for future commercialization success. This role requires a forward-thinking leader who exudes an entrepreneurial mindset and can effectively operate in a complex, a nimble and dynamic landscape. This is a global strategic marketing role that will contribute toward establishing the key strategic pillars and roadmap for future commercialization success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhancing the alliance partnership to develop high-impact commercialization strategies to maximize milvexian potential value
  • Designated Disease Strategy Lead (DSL) for 2 key indication(s), Secondary Stroke Prevention (SSP) and Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS)
  • Accountable for a range of pan-indication strategies, inclusive of global market assessments (Intercon), development of disease education strategy in collaboration with medical affairs, reversal strategy, manufacturing/product design and formulation and management of the alliance budget.
  • In coordination with the Director, WW Commercialization, will be responsible for the establishment of key commercial capabilities to enhance alliance effectiveness and future market operational synergies.
  • Will report to the Vice President, WW Commercialization Lead, and work closely with R&D, medical, HEOR, Access, BI&A, Regulatory, Corporate Affairs, Advocacy, manufacturing, product innovation and alliance cross functional partners to deliver commercialization objectives for milvexian.
  • Be responsible for liaising with HEOR/VAP team to develop the data generation plan to support a differentiated value story.
  • Work closely with the broader milvexian integrated leadership team, and others to ensure commercial strategies are rapidly applied and critical market development opportunities are being identified.
  • Identify commercial gaps and engage necessary stakeholders to assess strategic value, will be critical for the successful candidate to demonstrate.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • BA/BS required. MBA, PharmD, or other graduate experience strongly preferred
  • 5+ years of Marketing or related experiences is a must
  • Experience in strategic marketing, medical and/or operational P&L roles, including product launch experience
  • Have multiple experiences of championing and leading commercialization initiatives across multiple disease areas
  • Experience with alliances, biotech industry and or managing multiple agencies
  • Experience managing cross-functional brand budgeting and procurement process on behalf of team.
  • Experience with alliances/collaborations is preferred, but not necessary.
  • Demonstrated understanding of market access, HTA dynamics and value assessment approaches, with an unrelenting appetite to enhance the product development and commercialization process
  • Worldwide experience and or pre-launch/ launch experience either in major markets or a global setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and understand market analysis and assessments to drive strategic decisions
  • Demonstrated track record of leading, working with and integrating high performance, cross-functional teams
  • Ability to influence key strategic decisions and effectively collaborate with R&D organization
  • Demonstrated strategic capabilities, including deep experience with scenario planning, design-to-value, and decision analytics.
  • Understanding of specialty market(s) landscape, customer needs, trends, opportunities, and emerging technologies
  • Ability to understand the complexities of international markets
