Quality Control Inspector

This temp-to-hire position offers the opportunity to join Bradshaw Home's Quality Control team with the potential for long-term employment. The Quality Control Inspector (QCI) plays a vital role in ensuring Bradshaw Home maintains high standards of product quality and customer satisfaction. This position is responsible for inspecting existing and incoming inventory, identifying quality or packaging concerns, and documenting findings through formal reporting. The QCI collaborates with receiving and inventory control teams and must be proficient in Bradshaw's ERP systems. A successful candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

  • Inspect existing inventory for general or specific product or packaging quality concerns.
  • Perform receiving inspections on newly arrived inventory.
  • Document inspection results and generate EII (Existing Inventory Inspection) or RII (Receiving Inventory Inspection) reports.
  • Assist with other quality control duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Bradshaw's Inventory Control and ERP systems; able to locate product status, purchase orders (POs), and locations with limited information.
  • Understanding of Bradshaw's Receiving process.
  • Certified and safety-trained forklift operator, in accordance with Bradshaw warehouse standards.
  • Proficient with computer programs, particularly Microsoft Excel.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a compassionate, reliable, and professional attitude at all times. Flexibility, patience, and the ability to manage frequent interruptions are essential, as inspection priorities often shift based on evolving business needs.
Additional expectations include:

  • Occasional lifting of products or boxes.
  • Climbing stairs or reaching shelves as part of inspection or packaging tasks.
  • Boxing and preparing items for shipment to consumers when necessary.
  • Full time schedule: M-F, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
