Senior Offer Manager - Market Acceleration

WHAT YOU'LL DO
We are seeking a strong candidate to work closely with Kanika Sanghi, Partner and Director and Global Leader of Market Acceleration topic (which is about driving Go-to-market strategy in emerging markets by accelerating sales & distribution growth levers), as well as the broader leadership & expert team, as the Senior Offer Manager for Global Advantage Practice Area at BCG.
As a Senior Offer Manager, you will be leading and coordinating the different Offer Management activities for the Market Acceleration topic, to support the development of our business, in particular including:

Offer Strategy and Plan. Alongside topic leadership, jointly drives yearly planning exercise around our BCG offer, articulating the needs / pain points from our clients, how they evolve and how our offer responds to these needs and how we differentiate from competitors. You will be supporting the development of a clear architecture for Market Acceleration offer, articulation around end-to-end programs, and connection with other BCG offers.

Offer Development. In collaboration with experts and knowledge teams, contribute to the development and dissemination of the Market Acceleration topic content; in particular ensure consistency between different content initiatives.
Prioritization and Backlog Management. Help teams align on priorities, based on the plan and manage the backlog of activities to support the development of Market Acceleration; as well as communication and marketing activities (internally and externally).
Offer Marketing and Communication. Together with the leadership team and marketing teams, develop product narrative, as well as communication plan and contribute to its execution.
Sales and Execution Support: contribute to relevant plans to build necessary capabilities internally (or externally) to best support the offer execution; support training and enablement of our teams. Support the Topic Leader(s) to further build the Market Acceleration topic including growing commercial footprint as well as BCG's intellectual property, and deliver projects & initiatives to support the advancement & commercialization of the Practice Area
Management and support to the Market Acceleration go-to-market (GTM) per Industry sector. In collaboration with different BCG sector teams, align on Industry Sector priorities and specific GTM plans (incl. customized content needed, specific campaigns, of priority clients).
Offer Governance. Support the leadership team in setting up and orchestrating the right governance, prepare and facilitate the regular meetings / calls associated to it.
Strategic analysis and reporting. With support of the PA and Finances team, put in place relevant KPIs and processes to monitor progress against defined OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) for the team and help track business progress.
As part of the Offer Management BCG community, you will work closely with your topic teams, and with your Offer Management colleagues and contribute to the testing / refining and exchange of best practices across the community. You will also contribute to broader initiatives and special projects launched by the Offer Managers community. As a Senior Offer Manager, your area of focus may evolve as the market require to develop new offers, adapt existing ones.

YOU'RE GOOD AT
Successful candidates will feel comfortable operating in a "start-up mode" within BCG and with multiple players, have strong project management skills, the aptitude to see and hold the big picture, yet also manage the details. Comfort with ambiguity, evolving priorities and eagerness to lean in to support team/projects when needed, are also pre-requisites.
Successful candidates will show the following abilities:

Orchestrate complex agendas, align senior leadership on a common vision, prioritizing activities and working with others to get things done (in a distributed organization).
Manage and execute projects efficiently; provide hands-on support to multiple activities, often requiring strong consulting skills (slides writing, storytelling, effective communication, commercial traction assessment by looking into revenue data, etc.).
Collaborate and communicate with various teams and individuals, with different level of seniority in different geographies and with different background; be able to communicate with senior leaders and be a connection point for the community.
Working in an ever changing and complex environment, and comfortable with ambiguity and navigating a fast-paced environment.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
Desired Skills/Experience

Experience managing successful products, including defining vision, strategy, outcome-driven product roadmaps and creating and managing backlogs.
Experience articulating product value proposition.
Demonstrated ability to define and track KPIs and other measurable success criteria.
Experience working directly with clients and/or collecting client feedback and user experience.
Ability to break down complex problems into actionable steps.
Experience with either lean startup methodologies and agile development methodologies.
Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree preferred, with demonstrated high academic achievement.
10+ years of industry experience preferred (7+ years at a strict minimum), and/or 5+ year of PMO or consulting related experience (top tier company).
Exposure in relevant topic sector - Market Acceleration / Go To Market in emerging markets.
Preferable demonstrated expertise in/knowledge of sales & distribution function (especially exposure to FMCG & Industrial Goods Industry).

Our business management and operations team members work to ensure that BCG is running smoothly, efficiently, and productively. We are made up of executive and administrative (or case team) assistants, visual service artists, receptionists, facilities staff, and the team leaders and office coordinators who manage these operations and business management jobs.
