Senior Knowledge Analyst - Non-Ferrous Metals & Recycling

WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Senior Knowledge Analyst (SKA) within BCG's Industrial Goods Practice Area you will work in a growing global team, providing metals & mining expertise and insights. You will collaborate with case and proposal teams to provide knowledge assets, analysis and expert advisory. You'll serve as a thought partner and content expert to case teams and topic/sector leaders, helping structure and solve complex issues.

Additionally, you will drive the development of intellectual property and knowledge assets to support the Non-Ferrous Metals & Recycling business, serving as an active contributor to commercialization efforts, whilst working with business leaders to drive proposal & go-to-market efforts. You will assist with on-boarding, training and guiding junior colleagues and share best practices within the team.

YOU'RE GOOD AT

Solving client problems through relevant analytical approaches and customized solutions
Driving development and maintenance of knowledge assets e.g., models, tools, sector materials
Effectively engaging your audience, including senior stakeholders, in a credible and confident way

Flexibility and bringing a curious and creative mindset, proposing innovative ideas
Navigate complexity and ambiguity

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

Bachelor's Degree required in environmental science, materials science, metallurgy, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
Technical expertise in the metals refining, processing and recycling process would be a plus, as well as familiarity with regulatory compliance and environmental policies in the metals recycling space
1-2+ years of consulting experience required; In lieu of consulting experience, 2+ years minimum industry experience required; 3-6+ years of industry experience strongly preferred
Fluency in English; working level German skills a plus
* Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholder
