Role profile
BCG's HR team works to attract, develop, excite, deploy, and retain the best people in the market. Those in human resources manage the life cycle of all BCG employees - from hiring top talent and developing their skills to rewarding their contributions and supporting career progression and mobility.
Your role will have overall responsibility for managing the Brussels BST Recruiting team; overseeing all activity related to Campus, MBA, Cross Channel, Senior Associate, Consultant, Industry and Lateral hiring into the Brussels office.
The successful candidate will need to be able to work with multiple related teams across BCG, both within Brussels and across the wider region. You will closely collaborate with the Brussels Recruiting MDP & Recruiting Director.

General Responsibilities:
Management of the Brussels recruiting team - ensuring a smooth running of the "day-to-day" as well as developing their roles to focus on strengths and development areas, writing appraisals and involvement in bi-annual DC meetings, goal setting and ongoing regular feedback sessions
Manage overall team responsibilities such as team meetings, and team engagement in conjunction with the LAB People Leadership team.
Manage annual budget review and on-going reviews to budget throughout the year
Reviewing recruitment targets/numbers and overall operational activities
Best practice sharing with other offices and regional input where necessary
Alignment of recruitment efforts across BCG businesses (e.g. PLA, BCG X, TDA) in the Belgian market striving for a unified candidate experience and synergies in the use of internal resources (both recruitment teams & consultant staff)
Take an active role in office management meetings, cohort sessions, wider HR function meetings etc.
Work closely with other BCG functions on capacity planning and headcount forecasts
Overseeing recruiting activities across the following channels:

Campus Recruiting:
Ownership for University channel - ensuring operations are on track, delivered on time, and new ideas implemented to improve overall process efficiency
Attendance at Campus events/involvement in campaigns where necessary to support team
Stakeholder management with recruiting partners across BCG to ensure they are kept well informed and positioned as the key contact for first line problem solving
Developing & implementing recruitment strategy to respond to changing market/business needs - solving for increasing growth, and competition in the market, ensuring our processes are future-proofed
Consider our Marketing and Branding tools, how we're positioned on the market and how we can improve our value proposition towards students
Visiting Associate Program - incl. operational aspects with team
Senior Associate and Consultant Recruiting (incl. MBA):
Oversee Senior Associate (SA) and Consultant (C) level experienced hiring channel (high quality/quantity pipeline, fitting sourcing strategies)
End-to-end recruiting process for all applications at the Senior Associate and Consultant level from all sources: MBA campus, internal employee referrals, online applications, direct sourcing methods
Senior Recruiting:
Ownership of local execution of project leader, principal and partner (PPPL) level hiring, in close alignment with LAB Sr hiring manager
Together with LAB Sr hiring manager, develop further sourcing strategies to help meet our headcount growth plans
Support LAB Sr hiring manager to define optimal sourcing method for each candidate search (direct sourcing where possible supplemented with head-hunters to meet targets)
Cross-channel Recruiting:
Lead several projects that cut across all of the recruiting channels in conjunction with LAB recruiting managers & wider HR team (e.g. screening, interview process optimization, Nexus, etc.)
Internal CRM: lead implementation & adaptation of new CRM (ensuring a strong connection between CRM team and BRU team, supporting and assisting the team and wider business in the adoption across processes of new CRM)
Recruiting Marketing content - oversee adoption of campaigns & translation in line with local market needs
DE&I - monitoring and continuing to drive the initiative to meet gender parity recruiting & other diversity targets and initiatives
Maintaining and keeping accurate records of key recruiting metrics to allow for ease of reporting. Making any necessary improvements to data tracking outputs/frequency etc.

YOU'RE GOOD AT

Proactivity and taking the initiative to identify opportunities to support the team and improve ways of working
Enthusiastic with a positive "can-do" attitude
Being able to interact effectively with the team and the recruitment stakeholders, as well as building rapport with the candidates
Knowledge of Office 365 suite of tools, Excel and PowerPoint is required
The ability to remain calm and personable with good inter-personal skills during busy periods; in combination with excellent stakeholder management skills
In this position you will work efficiently under pressure and juggle multiple responsibilities effectively
This is a busy role requiring ability to work to short deadlines with the right level of urgency and professionalism
Effective and adaptable communication skills and self-organisation are essential
Willingness to be very 'hands on' & exemplary organizational skills

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

Prior team management experience or keen interest in leading a team in a highly demanding environment
Extensive in-house recruitment experience (ideally including experience in industry recruitment/graduate recruitment cycle)
Experience in running multiple concurrent complex processes
Experience in professional services industry preferred
University graduate
Native Dutch or French, with excellent English skills
