Marketing Coordinator

WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for the preparation and execution of the external marketing and communications activities for a set of 3-4 Practice Areas (PA) in Central and Spanish-Speaking South America (SSA), to enhance visibility and presence in local markets. You will work in close collaboration with the Marketing Senior Manager and ad-hoc Managing Directors & Partners (MDPs), with the goal of both brand building and business development.

You will:
Team-up with PA Nodes (MDPs) at the local level, to ensure a robust and prioritized marketing & communications go-to-market plan aligned with the Business Development needs.
Actively coordinate and execute the local thought leadership plan for each PA.

Develop end-to-end campaigns on top priorities, ensuring focus and visibility across marketing channels.
Manage content distribution through e-mails and ensure a strong online presence with special focus on LinkedIn.
Team-up with Public Relations (PR) agencies to ensure a strong media activation in SSA.
Provide full support in event management (from building lists up to execution) and coordinate speaker roles.
Map and provide support to build strong relationships with relevant organizations.
Team-up with MDPs and Executive Assistants in Customer relationship management.
Tracking and reporting marketing and communications activities, both from BCG and Competitors

YOU'RE GOOD AT

Developing and executing a best-in-class suite of marketing & communication materials and activities that support our client teams in building and strengthening client relationships.
Building bridges, making connections, and nurturing relationships.
Making independent decisions within existing guidelines on preparing marketing and communications activities.
Owning recurring analysis/ metrics dashboards.
You are a creative thinker, with a flexible attitude and analytical skills.
You are highly motivated, energetic, resourceful and with great interpersonal skills.
A strong team player who is always thinking about how to improve, evolve, collaborate, and innovate.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

5+ years relevant experience in marketing & communications, in a professional services environment, consulting and/or journalism responsibilities or relevant professional experience at a PR agency, in a corporate communications environment
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related
Strong experience in media relations, social media enablement, event management, CRM, and external relations
Ability to handle defined work area, process, and/or project, with minimal guidance
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Excellent execution/ organizational/ communication skills
Great Self-starter, results-driven, service and solution-oriented
Great planning skills, ability to juggle multiple projects and achieve deadlines
A strong positive personal and professional image with excellent standards of professional behavior and ethics
Strong written and verbal communication skills, both in Spanish and English
* Advanced proficiency in Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel

YOU'LL WORK WITH
You will be part of the Marketing team in SSA and working closely with the Marketing Senior Manager and PA Nodes from the system. BCG's marketing team drives the firm's reputation as a thought leader. We work to strengthen and protect BCG's brand, advance our business agenda, and partner with management to engage with our key audiences through tools such as global thought-leadership publications, public relations, alumni outreach, recruitment marketing, and social media.
