LAB Talent & Performance Senior Director

WHAT YOU'LL DO
The LAB Talent & Performance Senior Director will be responsible for the deployment and performance management of BCG's client facing talent as well as the learning & development and sustainable working of all BCG talent across the London-Amsterdam-Brussels (LAB) System. You will report to the LAB People & Operations Senior Director and work very closely with the other LAB People leaders of Talent Acquisition, HR, BST People, and People Analytics, as well as the Talent Business Partners to deliver the broader People agenda. For the functions in your domain, you will ensure the smooth execution of day-to-day operations, while driving key strategic initiatives. You will have responsibility for all team and budget related topics within your functions.

Oversee the deployment and performance management of BCG's client facing talent as well as the learning & development and sustainable working of all BCG talent across LAB

Staffing for CT
Lead strategic development of our Staffing function to drive a client led delivery model enabling access to the best of BCG talent while offering optimized career development opportunities for our CT staff
Ensure a talent and business lens in day to day resource management
Promote and embed links between CDC, Staffing, Talent Business Partners, Practice Areas, and other HR functions to ensure smooth day to day management as well as long term career planning
Help define and embed new ways of working between the new Talent Business Partner roles, the PAs, and Staffing, evolving the Staffing model as needed
Where required, manage escalations in staffing decisions that cannot be resolved by team working together with MDPs and PA nodes
Line manage the LAB Staffing lead
Career Development for the Consulting Team (CT CDC)
Provide strategic guidance for career development, particularly evolving BCG career paths
Promote and embed links between CDC, Staffing, Talent Business Partners, Practice Areas, and other HR functions to ensure strong pathways and platforms for individual success
Help define and embed new ways of working between the new Talent Business Partner roles, the PAs, and CDC, evolving the CDC model as needed
Drive continuous improvement in Career Development processes and practices
Ensure appropriate involvement of HR where required for ER issues
Line manage the LAB CDC lead
Learning & Development for both BST & CT
Ensure alignment with regional and global L&D priorities, supporting consistency of L&D and helping to drive initiatives for the region
Provide guidance on the strategic direction of L&D at system level
Oversee deployment and administration of L&D at local office level
Line manage the LAB L&D lead
Oversee Teaming@BCG for both BST & CT to drive improvements in Sustainable Working
Ensure LAB remains at the forefront of the Teaming@BCG program, working with global and regional teams on continuous program improvement in line with continuously evolving business and People context
Ensure Teaming is further embedded in the organization, particularly at Leadership level
Support and challenge the team in identifying and promoting learnings to address Sustainable Working for our client facing teams
Line manage the LAB Teaming Lead
In addition, you will lead further integration and collaboration across all functions within Talent & Performance, on a functional as well as organizational level. You will work closely with the LAB People & Operations Senior Director to define the strategic agenda for Talent & Performance and execute against this vision. You will identify opportunities to drive improvement in the model, both operational and strategic, and lead change initiatives to achieve these improvements. You will also work closely with the new Talent Business Partner roles to define and embed new ways of working with the functions in your domain.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

Extensive management experience across range of Talent functions
At least 10 years of relevant professional experience including 6 to 7 years of management experience, ideally in an international professional services firm
HR qualifications and international work experience are a value-add
Excellent English skills (verbal and written communication)

YOU'LL WORK WITH
You will report into the LAB People & Operations SeniorDirector and will partner closely with MDP leadership engaged in Staffing, Career Development, Learning & Development, and Teaming@BCG. You will have line responsibility for a team of Managers across Geos and a visible senior leadership role within the People team
