Global Events Analytics Manager

Santa Ana, Costa Rica

WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a key member of the Global External Relations & Events team, the Global Marketing Events Analytics Manager will participate in generating insight on BCG's events portfolio through optimised data quality. You will work with the Global External & Events Analytics Director and collaborate closely with a wide group of peers and senior stakeholders. Specifically, you will collaborate on:
Generating insights and trends on events portfolio and measure performance for leadership reports
Mapping BCG's annual portfolio to create clarity across stakeholder groups and geographies
Strengthening and streamlining data management in event planning processes, incorporating external invitations and on-the-ground 1:1 client engagement

Enabling marketers on event tools and processes to ensure standards are met (including tool adoption and community management in collaboration with Marketing Technology team)

YOU'RE GOOD AT

Working in cross-functional teams (inside and outside of marketing), especially in a virtual setting
Managing multiple sets of data across tools and spreadsheets
Exceptional attention to detail and excellent coordination and organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple inputs and to organize data effectively.
Communicating effectively (written and verbal) to all stakeholders in an accurate and in a service-orientated way (in English)
Working in a structured, autonomous and process orientated way

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business administration or any other discipline focused in data processing
5 or more years of relevant practical experience in events or data management
Experience and knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and tools
Experience and knowledge of marketing and data visualisation technologies such as Microsoft Dynamics, Marketo, Tableau, PowerBI
Experience and knowledge of marketing and event technologies CRM or similar tool such as Microsoft Dynamics, Marketo, Cvent
Proficiency in all software used at BCG; advanced Excel and slide-writing skills essential
Ability to work in autonomy with good planning/organization skills and exceptional attention to detail
Demonstrate a positive and friendly manner, with a strong service orientation, high degree of flexibility, and the ability to work under pressure.
Ability to interact with intercultural teams at senior and junior levels in a non-hierarchical manner
Previous experience mentoring and coaching colleagues not in a direct report line
