Asia Pacific Regional Consulting Learning & Development Specialist

WHAT YOU'LL DO
BCGers are people with extraordinary, and diverse, talents, and have a strong drive to continually
improve themselves. The learning and development function supports the growth of BCGers by
designing and delivering business-centric learning and development programs and capstone events.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering selected virtual and/or residential in-person learning
programs to consulting teams across Asia Pacific. Additionally, you will take on L&D initiatives from
time-to-time. You will work closely with BCG's local, regional and global teams.

Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

1. Manage logistics and operations of training programs and learning journey activities

Manage training schedules

Manage training registrations and invitations. Track attendance and facilitate postponement / cancellation process

Use BCG's learning management system to maintain training database (program dates, participants, trainers, etc.)

Prepare program logistics

Virtual/ online programs: Set up Zoom links and Outlook invites accordingly, prepare supporting platforms (e.g., Slack for participant's online communication and Trello as information repository)

Residential/ in-person programs: Source and secure training locations and venues (hotels, restaurants, etc.), develop airfare guideline, and participant pre-departure handbook, etc.

Provide live training support and play the role as a program host, with potential to host training opening and closing sessions

Build relationships with internal and external trainers while managing their scheduling, logistics, contracting, billing and invoicing

Manage post-program feedback process including executing surveys, develop feedback summary reports and manage communications with internal and external trainers

Support development of annual budgets for responsible training programs and track/ audit actual spending

Maintain the filing system for training materials and documents, making updates to materials on an as-needed basis

Propose and lead initiatives to continuously enhance L&D operations

2. Contribute to opportunities to improve learning and development programs overall

Support change management initiatives to create awareness and adoption of L&D's latest initiatives

Be a thought partner to the broader team on opportunities to improve operation effectiveness and efficiency

Manage special projects relating to operations which may involve collaborations

with Learning & Development network, People Team and other BST / Consulting Teams

3. Help develop the regional training community

Answer requests for information & materials

Coordinate regular meetings and conference calls

Welcome and support new members to the AP L&D community

YOU'RE GOOD AT

Being organized with attention to detail and accuracy within a fast-paced and complex environment

Displaying service-oriented mentality and responding to customer's needs with a sense of urgency

Hosting large groups of learners-able to read the room, inject energy and support trainers

Collaborating with program core team, displaying a high level of motivation and enthusiasm for tasks

Working effectively and independently in a wider virtual team environment, partnering across functions, geographic, cultures and staff levels within BCG

Anticipating, identifying, analyzing and solving problems creatively

Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint and have the ability to pick up digital tools quickly (Zoom, Slack, Trello, Sharepoint, etc)

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

BA/BS degree required

* 3-5 years of experience in learning & development / HR operations or event management

YOU'LL WORK WITH
You will be part of the AP Consulting Learning and Development team and you will be reporting to the AP Consulting Learning and Development Operations Senior Manager
