We are seeking an Experimentation Training and Engagement Specialist I to enhance data-driven decision-making by ensuring teams apply rigorous experimentation methodologies effectively. This role focuses on educating stakeholders, refining experimentation processes, and enabling teams to generate and interpret high-quality insights.
Through structured training, workgroups, documentation, processes and collaboration, the Experimentation Training and Engagement Specialist will support cross-enterprise Experimentation, helping all stakeholders make informed, statistically sound business decisions.
Key Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Co-deliver training sessions with more experienced team members and take responsibility for maintaining and updating self-service documentation and workshop materials.
- Facilitate sections of training programs using pre-defined content, actively support audience engagement, and gather structured feedback to inform improvements.
- Draft and update entries in the experimentation knowledge base, including FAQs and guides, with a focus on clarity and accessibility for non-technical audiences.
- Actively collect, synthesize, and organize feedback from the experimentation community to improve training content, documentation, and delivery processes.
- Coordinate logistics and assist with documentation during prioritisation workshops and requirement-gathering sessions, ensuring effective stakeholder participation.
- Coordinate and co-facilitate experimentation forums, preparing content and supporting discussions to improve alignment and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to cross-functional meetings by owning defined tasks and sharing concise written updates, helping ensure smooth collaboration.
- Support the delivery of the Experimentation Ambassadors program by handling logistics, onboarding coordination, and contributing to communications and materials.
- Draft and help format internal content (ie. blog posts, how-to guides), ensuring it aligns with experimentation best practices and communication standards.
- Contribute to documenting examples of effective experimentation culture and support efforts to identify and share cultural best practices through written or visual content.
- Plan and execute event logistics, including setup, communications, and post-event follow-up for experimentation-related events.
- Help prepare summaries of experiment results and co-develop insights with senior team members for distribution to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Initial experience (1-3 years) in an analyst or data specialist role, with a developing focus on interpreting data and communicating findings.
- Familiarity with core experimentation methodologies, including A/B testing and statistical concepts (ie. significance); able to follow established best practices with guidance.
- Experience in delivering sections of pre-defined training sessions or onboarding programs, supporting efforts to improve experimentation literacy for specific audiences.
- Developing stakeholder engagement skills; comfortable interacting with team leads and peers to gather feedback or share information, generally with support for more complex discussions.
- Experience contributing to or updating existing knowledge-sharing content, such as documentation or guides.
- Experience in supporting the logistics and execution of events, such as training sessions or team meetings, often involving note-taking or co-facilitating specific segments.
- Developing analytical and critical thinking skills; comfortable exploring defined data sets and drawing initial conclusions with guidance; familiarity with basic data tools.
- Ability to communicate core experimentation and statistical concepts with clarity to non-technical audiences, often with some support for more complex topics; uses analogies to explain basic ideas.
- Communicates clearly on straightforward topics with peers and in small group settings; understands when to ask for clarification or support for more complex communications.
- Reliably completes assigned tasks within their program areas and understands when to ask for support; beginning to identify areas for simple improvements with guidance.
