We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Transaction Management Group (Specialist Market / Credit Risk Management) to join our Corporate Trust Singapore team. This position is a Hybrid role.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Review Debt Capital Market deal documentation to which a BNY Mellon entity is a party. Not limited to Trust Deeds, Agency Agreements, Account Bank Agreements, Custody Agreements and Loan documentation.
  • Work closely with clients, lawyers and advisors to ensure issues are escalated promptly and resolved in line BNYM policies and procedures, document standards.
  • Work with clients, lawyers and internal stakeholders to resolve any documentation and or operational issues. Ensure key tasks for BNY Mellon are extracted from the documents and highlighted to the internal teams responsible for performance of the activity.
  • Complete all client onboarding responsibilities and ensure the closed transaction is handed over to the Client Service Team to manage the deal throughout its life cycle.
  • Where applicable, review work of more junior colleagues and provide guidance on complex tasks.
  • Responsible for reviewing updates and amendments to transaction documents and informing all impacted stakeholders.
  • Attend external briefings to stay up to date with market updates and changes in legislation.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Understanding of a variety of Debt Capital Market products including but not limited to Bonds, MTN's, Securitisation, and Project Finance
  • Understanding of the issuance process through the ICSD's, DTC, CMU and CDP.
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in finance or a related area, or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 5-7 years of total work experience preferred.
