The opportunity:
As the business in Asia Pacific is expanding, we are seeking an experienced senior Technical Agile Business Analyst / Product Manager to join our team in India. You will be a practiced and seasoned Product Manager. Working cross-functionally this role will digitize Fund Accounting operational processes, build new integrations with enterprise Custody platforms, digital tools and guide develop products from conception through launch, growth, and maturity by connecting different technical worlds to meet our customer needs. In this role you will break down complex problems into steps that drive product development and release adopting the principals of growth from MVP / PoC. This position offers a high-profile opportunity to lead projects involving various businesses and entities within the firm.
This multidimensional role will be hands-on working across local and global teams of technology, business and operational subject matter experts translating business needs into a robust and integrated technology solutions. You will be applying new ways to define business requirements such as design thinking methods to gather and analyse business problem statement to ensure high quality outcome improving client and user experience.

What you will bring to the team:
As a senior Technical Product Manager / Agile Business Analyst, your role is crucial to the success of helping our business and customers do what they do best. You take a customer-first mindset to solving problems and you don't settle for "good enough", you aim for awesome. You help other colleagues understand why something is important and worth doing. You tell stories about our customers to help the business understand who we are, what we do and who we do it for.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred
- 12-18 years of overall experience in Business Analysis, Techno functional analysis and Project management
- Experience in the financial services and working knowledge on Asset Servicing
- Hands-on experience on system development in the areas of Fund accounting, NAV solutions, Fund administration, Custody platforms, Corporate Actions would be an added advantage
- Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills
- Experience in Business Analysis, providing consulting advice to senior IT and business management required.
- Hands on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Good Project Management or Scrum Master experience is an added advantage
- Exposure to UI/UX concepts and tools to mockup wireframe, e.g., Sketch or FIGMA.
- SQL report writing experience with deep data model knowledge and able to develop complex queries across multiple tables.
- Able to use tools such as Postman to perform REST API Query & validating REST API data points
- Behavior Driven Development (BDD) with Cucumber
- Extensive experience in identifying the right problem to define the purpose with a good business acumen and inspire the high-performance team to deliver on the business expectations
- Be a highly motivated and self-starter who is willing to act and be ambitious with ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere
- A deep desire to help the business and operations to digitize their workflows and accelerate the design by simplifying processes and provide highly scalable automated solutions with the ability to clearly understand the customer needs and communicate them to the development team
- Passionate about amplifying and promoting Agile values and principles to drive a common understanding across the business
- Be comfortable in dealing with ambiguity and solutioning using new methodologies and/or technologies underpinned by a sound product and execution skills, ability to perform under tight deadlines, yet not reducing your detailed orientation and your eye on the big picture
- A technical understanding of the systems and technologies behind the product, their limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions, and reasons for architectural decisions; yet being equally comfortable with building a business requirements document and understanding high-level technical architectures.
- Be able through experience to maintain a solid prioritized backlog with clear and concise user stories
- Work closely with the development team to expand their product capabilities, managing product backlogs and development timelines, including developing feature lists, user stories and define product roadmaps
- Consider that being hands-on as a positive element to work and demonstrate a 'can-do' attitude to start and finish ideas execution, whilst simplifying complex problems, tackling interesting and meaningful challenges
- Be a highly collaborative senior Technical Product Manager / Agile Business Analyst able to effectively navigate organization boundaries, producing innovative ideas and help in implementing them
- A clear communicator ensuring that requirements are clearly understood by all the teams and that the implementation roadmap matches the requirements
- Be passionate and a visionary through the ability to assess emerging products and potential threats to the organization
