We're seeking a future team member in the role of Senior Specialist, Technology Product Owner to join our Corporate Technology Chief Administrator Office team that supports the Enterprise Change Resiliency and Sourcing group. This role is in Pittsburgh, PA USA.- hybrid work arrangements.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Consults with stakeholders to analyse, define, challenge, and prioritize the business requirements, functional specifications, and operational architecture for a functional work stream within a critical Recovery and Resolution program. Formulates and defines program scope and objectives for the work stream with thorough understanding of business processes in a specific business domain.
  • Tailor standard processes for team to elicit, challenge, and prioritize requirements, and translates into functional design and use case models.
  • Provides guidance in development of the technical design, test plans, and user documentation.
  • Leads implementation/conversion strategy planning and implementation.
  • Manages scope and change throughout the initiative utilizing formal change control and requirements traceability.
  • Gathers and analyses information and develops recommendations to address strategic business objectives that span multiple, global business and technology areas.
  • Manage client relations to ensure that service expectations are developed and met.
  • Serves as a liaison between clients and internal technical groups to ensure delivery of projects on time and to specification.
  • Participates in industry forums and keeps current on domain knowledge for their specific business and application areas of expertise.
  • Applies experiences across various software and/or systems development processes to define and collect metrics and identify and implement opportunities for improvement to increase quality of requirements and speed time-to-market.
  • Actively influences software and/or systems development process improvement initiatives.
  • Provide input for (project) team member performance appraisals.
  • Knowledge JIRA, PPM tools, is a plus.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or technical-related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
  • 9-12 years of experience in providing consulting advice to senior IT and business management required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task with a flexible approach to changing priorities.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Prior experience of working in distributed global teams.
  • Efficient Test Writer and System Tester assuring changes all align to specifications. Keeping team's test beds current with latest system's changes.
  • Must have experience with MS Office Suite
  • Business Architecture experience
  • Knowledge of web development technology (i.e. ETL tools, API, Big Data, Workflow) would be a plus.
