Senior Specialist, Technology Product Manager

Overview

Responsibilities include:

  • Own adoption metrics & analytics processes and artifacts. This includes, but is not limited to monthly executive level reporting, real-time dashboard updates, specialized views by CIO, by Product
  • Prepare for and participate in monthly meetings with LOB CIO direct reports
  • Responsible for translating data into actionable insights suitable for consumption by executive level resources
  • Own, prioritize and communicate the short, medium, and long term product road map and release plan
  • Interface with the rest of the product and engineering organization to understand opportunities, requirements and priorities to ensure the right focus of the team
  • Interface with partner services that provide critical elements of our end user product (i.e. security, IAM, UX and infrastructure teams)
  • Own backlog and priorities of efforts that will perfect and scale our platforms
  • Monitor, measure and evaluate success of rolled out capabilities and iterate as needed
  • Create and develop metrics (data) to evaluate the usage and success of the products you're accountable for
  • Foster adoption of new infrastructure support/systems developed by the team
  • Understand, partake in, and discuss the architecture/technical decisions made by the team
  • Interface with 100+ global development teams
  • Contribute to the broader Platform strategy; give feedback to technical teams building products on top of existing shared services
  • Answer day-to-day product questions from engineers, business partners and support personnel
  • Manage communication of progress/status to internal and external stakeholders

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • 8-10 years of related work experience
  • Superior Excel skills; V Look-up, Pivot tables, large data set analysis
  • Demonstrated experience in creating executive level content, analytics and insights
  • Experience in an Agile environment
  • Experience working in a federated content / platform provider model a plus
  • Experience prioritizing a feature backlog for a backend engineering team juggling multiple work streams
  • Experience working with globally dispersed resources
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint, Jira and Confluence a plus
Leads and provides direction on product management, development and marketing processes for multiple large products or one complex product. Liaises with cross-functional teams to deliver products that address client needs.Leads sessions on the design and product development of products including adoption and marketing strategies for multiple large products.Provides guidance to cross-functional teams during the project lifecycle. Ensures project has necessary requirements, deliverable and support model in place; pre-and post rollout. Is highly familiar with product competitors, consumer trends, and market status. May act as the primary point of contact for some products. Responsible for analyzing, defining, and challenging the product's business case based on team and industry reports. Prioritizes product requirements and further investigates product feasibility. Determines project responsibilities and scope. Develop scope, roadmap strategic direction for the product or product suite. Drive excecution of product roadmap. May serve as Team Lead. Contributes to the achievement of area objectives Bachelor's degree in business management or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required8-10 years of related experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
