Overview

The Bank of New York Mellon seeks a Senior Specialist, Full-Stack Developer in Pittsburgh, PA to consult with internal business groups to provide appropriate application software development services or technical support. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, and seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation. Seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience must include: Reviewing the configuration and security settings within the databases of financial systems and applications using MS SQL, Oracle, DB2, Vertica, NO SQL and Sybase; Reviewing the configuration and security settings within the operating systems of financial systems and applications using Windows and UNIX platforms; Performing object-oriented programming (OOP) with Python, Flask and Java to validate configurations within financial systems and applications; Integrating core and advanced concepts in data analytics within the financial services industry during the audit process using Oracle HCM, Fast Formula, BI Publisher, and OTBI; and Utilizing technology audit skills to validate system code effectiveness, data protection and privacy, user authentication and entitlements, and ensure adherence to technology policies and standards, as well as Data Strategy effectiveness within financial systems and applications.
