Overview

The Bank of New York Mellon seeks a Senior Specialist, Full-Stack Developer in Jersey City, NJ, to provide application architecture/design and software development services as well as technical support for highly customized complex applications supporting the Unit Investment Trust business. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience must include: Developing in .Net, C#, MS SQL, IBM DB2, BIDS SSIS, GIT Hub, File Transmissions (SFTP), Depository Participant security management software, Object-oriented Programming concepts and Database Normalization; Developing and optimizing complex stored procedures, API's and ETL SSIS packages leveraging database design in MS SQL and IBM DB2 Mainframe Database environments to pull data from multiple disparate sources including Flat files, VSAM, IBM DB2 and SQL Database tables; Designing patterns including Abstract Factory and Singleton to create reusable, resilient, efficient and scalable software solutions; Integrating core and advanced concepts in data analytics within the financial services industry during the audit process using SSRS, Crystal Reports and DB2 Store Procedures; Performing all steps in the Unit Investment Trust Product Life-Cycle encompassing business processing and regulatory reporting requirements to deliver Best-In-Class application code development and enhancement, Estimation, Testing and Production Support; and designing, publishing, managing, analyzing, consuming micro-services and providing standard, accessible digital service delivery empowering clients.
