Overview

Position summary:

The Eagle Developer (Sr. Specialist) is responsible to Design, build and operate systems and solutions efficiently. He/she will work closely with Business Users/Analysts, understand the requirements to build new interfaces or enhance existing and deploy analytical solutions intended to solve defined business use cases. Position requires an individual that is self-motivated and can work with minimal supervision.

  • Work closely with Business Users/Analysts:
    • Gather requirements and analyze solution options
    • Develop solutions and define and execute test plans
    • Define and implement operational procedures
    • Adhering to SDLC standards
    • Providing 1st and 2nd level production support.
    • Assisting with preparing estimates for design, coding, and testing
    • Performing incident management and triage
Job Qualifications:

Proven working experience as Eagle Developer (Versions 15 or above) at a minimum of 3-5 years and having 10+ years of domain experience in the financial services industry.
  • BA/BS Degree required with a major/minor in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Information Management or Statistics preferred experience working in Asset Management or related financial services company.
  • PL/SQL (Oracle and MS SQL Server) Expertise
  • Programming/development proficiency
  • Microsoft Excel proficiency
  • Must have experience in working with Eagle Star, Eagle Pace platforms using modules Eagle Message Center, IWS, PACE Uploaders & Exporters and Eagle STAR Panels
  • Working knowledge on Aladdin (ABOR and IBOR) is preferable
  • Experience in using Code management tools like MS TFS or Gitlab
  • Additional Preferred Qualifications:
  • Python competency
  • Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure)
Manages multiple teams of business analysts supporting multiple systems, providing technical and operational direction. Ensures best practices are followed in the business analysis functional area and improves collaboration between technology and business/functional areas to provide innovative solutions. Responsible for managing multiple, complex projects, that may be global in scope.Leads and oversees business system projects, budgets, resourcing, etc. Implements strategic procedures and policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Provides innovative direction and guidance on project reports and ensures recommendations are aligned with user needs and capabilities. Advises business groups by providing technical direction to identify and address business issues and opportunities. Provides leadership to execute project plans and performance requirements for all stages/phases through the management of human capital resources.Leads recruitment efforts and manages and develops teams to maximize their collective contributions. Motivates lower level managers to maximize their contributions and encourage professional growth. Manages multiple business analysis teams. Contributes to the achievement of multiple teams' objectives. Advanced degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required. 12+ years of experience in systems quality environment, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience required, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus..
