Overview

The Bank of New York Mellon seeks Senior Specialist, Business Analysis in New York, NY, to tailor processes and templates for the team to elicit, challenge, and prioritize requirements, and translate them into functional design and use case models. Provide guidance in the development of the technical design, test plans, and user documentation. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Finance or a related field, and eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience must include: Designing business models by applying techniques including Flores business process modeling, business information modeling, and interface modeling, using MS-Visio; Analyzing and synthesizing data findings into key insights for senior business stakeholders to provide design feedback into UI/UX design; Creating Business Requirements Documents, Functional Requirements Documents, Epics & User Stories, and User Guides; Performing data analysis using tools including Microsoft Excel and SQL to develop reports; and performing scope changes and establishing traceability from Business Process Models to User Stories and Functional Requirements using requirement tracking tools including JIRA. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite. Salary range: $145,866.00 to $175,000.00 per year and 40 hrs/wk.
