We're seeking future team members for our Engineering business with roles located in Chennai and Pune in HYBRID positions.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

Responsibilities:
  • Design, creation, and maintenance/enhancement of SharePoint sites, pages or Microsoft Web Parts that satisfy functional and technical requirements in a timely manner.
  • Ensures system reliability by keeping the platform up to date on patches, and provide support for disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
  • An advanced level of understanding of Windows operating system and hardware with basic server administration skills to include service packs and hot fixes.
  • General knowledge of networking - IP, DNS, Load Balancing as well as the concepts of Availability, Scalability, and Maintainability. This person should also understand firewalls, encryption and security zones.
  • An advanced understanding of Internet Information Server (IIS) and the basic operation of websites, Application Pools, IIS Administration, Ports, SSL Certifications (security certificates and wildcard certificates)
  • General knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server ‐ Basic operation, tuning, transaction log selection, backup and recovery, and maintenance planning. Since SharePoint is completely supported by a Microsoft SQL Server database, the SharePoint Administrator is expected to be knowledgeable at the database level.
  • An advanced level of understanding of SharePoint Central Administration, STSADM command command‐line administration tool for SharePoint IMPORT / EXPORT and BACKUP / RESTORE tasks, and the PowerShell administration modules.
  • SharePoint troubleshooting, event log administration, search administration troubleshooting and migration tasks with the concepts of a farm and the planning and implementation skills to implement Service Packs and Cumulative Updates.
  • Debugging skills and techniques for each of these areas identified above - troubleshooting issues can occur within or across one‐to‐many of these areas.
  • Handle major SharePoint operations such as Upgrade & Migration, Backup & Restore, Topology Services, Security configuration management, Logging & Reporting etc.,.
  • Willing to work in 24X7 shift model
  • Provide day to day operations support
  • Perform daily health checks for entire Sharepoint server Farm
  • Install Cumulative updates and Patches
  • Get involved in Troubleshooting issues and RCA (Root Cause Analysis)
  • Create site collections/Lists/Libraries and support end customers
  • Configure and troubleshooting Service applications such as Search, User profile, Metadata, BCS.
  • Ability to manage App infrastructure, Workflow management, Office Web apps (OWA)
  • Extensive skillset in managing Power Platforms
  • Good knowledge in Azure Shell scripting
  • Experience in Submitting & handling Microsoft Case
  • Experience in Solution to App conversion implementation

  • Knowledge in Power Platforms (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI)
  • Third party tool experience such as Metalogix, Sharegate, Doc Ave, Nintex, etc,
  • Active Directory / DNS / DHCP
  • Better understanding of ITIL process
