Overview
The Bank of New York Mellon seeks a Principal, Full-Stack Developer in New York, NY, to consult with internal business groups to provide high-level application software development services and technical support. Exhibit thorough and demonstrative knowledge on both the user-side frontend of a website as well as the backend, server-side that powers the user-side. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field, and ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience must include: Designing, developing, implementing, and analyzing software applications in the financial or banking domains using Java/J2EE technologies and UI technologies; Developing, modifying, and enhancing software architecture using REST, Web Services, Cache Frameworks, and Event Driven Frameworks; Utilizing Junit to write test plans, test cases, and perform unit regression testing; Conducting operating problem troubleshooting using Jira, Agile methodology Scrum; and Optimizing application performance using Multithreading concepts and debugging tools including Eclipse, Log4j & AppDynamics. Salary range: $198,440.00 to $200,000.00 USD/ year.
