Overview

The Bank of New York Mellon seeks a Principal, Full-Stack Developer in New York, NY, to consult with internal business groups to provide high‐level application software development services or technical support. Work on the user‐side frontend of a website, as well as the backend, server‐side that powers the user‐side. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Computer Science, or a related field and ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience must include: Architecting, designing, and developing applications using tools/technologies including Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript with OOPs concepts; Executing micro-services using tools/technologies including Java Spring-Boot and NodeJS for back-end and front-end development; Designing and optimizing NOSQL Databases to ensure functionality and secure storage; Constructing mobile applications using tools/technologies including Ionic Mobile Framework and CapacitorJS plugins; Enhancing code versioning to implement Monorepo structure Nginx / Lerna to support multi-team independent development; Automating visual testing using tools/technologies including Selenium and Applitool SDKs to improve coding efficiency; Implementing CICD Pipeline for various stages and environments and integrating Gitlab CI and Gitlab runners; and Utilizing tools/technologies including Kibana and Splunk to execute logging and monitor tasks.
