Department/Team overview
Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) is a part of the Chief Operational Risk Office organization in Second Line of Defense. Second Line Risk & Compliance leads the oversight of third party risk management practices enterprise wide, including:
  • Evaluation and challenge of the framework designed and deployed by the Enterprise Sourcing Office (ESO) within the First Line of Defense.
  • Facilitating the Third Party Risk Management Committee (TPRMC), to drive consistent third-party risk management enterprise wide.
  • Identifying and reporting third-party risks and potential red-flags signifying increasing risk exposure and emerging risks
  • Supporting Business Chief Risk Officers (BCROs) and Operational Risk Officers (OROs) in Second Line oversight of third party risk management.
The Chief Operational Risk Office is a global organization. TPRM has team members in the US and Poland.

Your role
We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Lead Analyst to join our Third Party Risk Management team in Wroclaw. You will support the Head of Third Party Risk Management in oversight and challenge risk management practices in the third party and inter-affiliate area, working closely with the key First Line of Defense stakeholders. While the focus of this role is mainly support in administration and execution of key processes (e.g., supporting the Secretary of Third Party Risk Management Committee or preparing third party risk reports using predefined criteria) we will enable adequate growth and a career path in the broader risk management space.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Support the oversight of the Global Third-Party Risk policies
  • Support the administration and facilitation of TPRM activities, specifically with the TPRMC
  • Liaise with the Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) and Accounts Payable (AP) teams to assist in delivery of TPRM related responsibilities
  • Support transformation/enhancement of the reporting capabilities to improve the overall control model
  • Support delivery of key projects/initiatives related to the Third-Party Risk Management program
  • Manage a variety of tasks and ad-hoc queries in the area of business management with a possibility to advance knowledge and skills in risk management
  • Contribute to the achievement of team objectives as they evolve to achieve strategic goals
Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of experience in a global financial institution preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including understanding requirements coming from key stakeholders and transforming them into effective deliverables
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint (presentations suitable for senior leadership) and Microsoft Word (documentation and procedures), supplemented by attention to details
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to plan work, meet deadlines and effectively execute the processes - while continuously improving them
  • Knowledge related to risk management is preferred but not required
