Make Your Mark:

At Blackline Systems we are looking for a Senior Manager, Paymaster Operations to join our growing team. This role will work cross functionally to help streamline the vendor payment business life cycle process, execute transformative projects designed to move the product towards a full SaaS self-service offering, and drive new solution introductions to achieve the company's business and strategic objectives in the intercompany accounting and vendor management space. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a proven track record in managing a range of complex, high-impact business projects, have strong organizational leadership and influencing skills, and be comfortable working in an ambiguous environment with rapidly shifting client objectives and priorities.

You'll Get To:

  • Responsible for supporting day to day functions including vendor payment processing, client reporting, handoff to billing liquidations and customer inquiries.
  • Work closely with the Directors of Managed Services to support the broader Blackline Intercompany software solution and Blackline customer team goals.
  • Impose control points, data quality controls and review activities on new or rapidly evolving business processes.
  • Engage cross-functional teams to stand up new intercompany solutions and transform existing client offerings.
  • Effectively organize and deploy a large team across a range of clients and intercompany sub-processes.
  • Facilitate collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including C-suite level clients, to ensure continuous alignment with customer priorities.
  • Actively manage project execution across multiple clients.
  • Standardize and streamline processes while continuing to support critical client needs.
  • Provide leadership to the overall strategic planning and execution of the company's Paymaster vendor management platform across multiple clients.
  • Manage project timelines for achieving transformative business objectives including onboarding of new customers, move to a fully Saas platform, and client self-service capabilities.
  • Impose processes rigor to ensure data quality and customer satisfaction in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Lead and manager a large, global team ensuring processes and goals are understood, and a focus on customer satisfaction is at the core of our day-to-day operating model.
  • Support cross-functional projects across the wider intercompany and Blackline product suite to ensure Paymaster needs and dependencies are understood and incorporated into project plans.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in computer science, accounting, business management, finance or related field required (or 8-10 or more years of experience)
  • 8-10 years of experience in accounting, FP&A, software implementation and operations, and/or related fields.
  • Experience working directly with C-Suite level clients and the ability to effectively communicate project updates.
  • Organized and able to balance competing priorities and communicate effectively through multiple channels.
  • Experience managing a geographically dispersed team.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills.

Salary Range:

USD $134,000.00 - USD $179,000.00

Pay Transparency Statement:

Placement within this range depends upon several factors, including the applicant's prior relevant job experience, skill set, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, BlackLine also offers short-term and long-term incentive programs, based on eligibility, along with a robust offering of benefit and wellness plans.
