About This Role:
As the Medical Information & Medical Operations Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality medical information services and operational support across the UK and Ireland. You will oversee the management of third-party providers, ensuring compliance with internal standards and national regulations. Your responsibilities will include leading the medical components of Patient Support Programmes, overseeing compassionate supply programmes, and supporting pharmacovigilance and product complaint functions. Additionally, you will manage relevant SOPs and working processes, ensuring they are up to date and aligned with Biogen standards. This role provides an opportunity to contribute significantly to the advancement of patient care and organizational excellence while collaborating across functional teams.

This is a hybrid role requiring ~50% on-site working in the Biogen Maidenhead offices.
What You'll Do:
- Lead and oversee the UKI Medical Information Service, ensuring adherence to Biogen standards and national guidelines.
- Manage external providers to ensure quality deliverables of Medical Information Services.
- Maintain and create Standard Response Letters and FAQs for external Medical Information providers.
- Respond to second-line medical inquiries, including conducting literature reviews and providing tailored responses.
- Provide regular insights and reports on evolving customer needs to cross-functional teams and leadership.
- Manage compassionate supply and free-of-charge stock requests, including approvals and interactions with healthcare professionals.
- Oversee medically led elements of Patient Support Programmes across the Biogen portfolio.
- Ensure adverse event reports and product complaints are directed to appropriate departments as per SOPs.
- Co-lead biannual reviews of SOPs and working processes, ensuring updates are integrated when needed.
- Provide ABPI review and final certification signatory input for promotional materials created by cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate closely with the Medical Director and other stakeholders to optimize medical operations and compliance.

Required Skills:
- Primary life sciences degree (MPharm or equivalent preferred).
- Proven experience in industry, in a Medical Information role.
- Demonstrated experience working with third-party Medical Information providers.
- Proven ability to handle medical inquiries and generate tailored responses, standard responses, and FAQs.
- Experience managing compassionate supply and free-of-charge stock requests.
- Familiarity with the ABPI Code of Practice, including review and approval processes.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Ability to interpret and analyze technical, scientific, and medical information.
- Proven ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in neurology and/or immunology.
- Advanced skills in database interrogation and search result interpretation.
