About This Role:
As a Material Review Librarian, you will play a pivotal role in managing our international content library, ensuring the seamless flow of assets and component assets within Biogen. Operating within the IMRO team and reporting to the Team Lead, you will oversee our digital asset management (DAM) solution, Veeva Vault. Your expertise in content and digital asset management, including taxonomy, indexing, cataloguing, and metadata tagging, will be vital to maintaining the integrity and quality of our content. You will collaborate with project owners across global, regional, and affiliate levels, as well as with external agencies, to plan and execute the creation, re-use, and localization of materials. This role not only ensures compliance with regional and local regulations but also supports the alignment of taxonomy and metadata across stakeholders, ultimately driving efficiency and innovation within Biogen's content landscape.

What You'll Do:
- Manage the migration, uploading, and tagging of components in the library, ensuring no duplicated assets and proper capture of all usage rights.
- Evaluate digital assets for archiving or removal based on retention policies and maintain quality control in clean-up operations.
- Support effective working relationships with Biogen's teams, agency partners, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Partner with the Veeva Vault business owner to maintain vendor relationships, focusing on technical support and training.
- Define criteria for final assets approval in the DAM and communicate requirements to internal and external partners.
- Maintain the Biogen reference library, ensuring all documents are categorized and accessible.
- Manage access requests and publish content intended for localization or re-use into Brand Portals.
- Onboard and coordinate training for new team members on creation and localization processes and tools.
- Collaborate with project owners and external agencies to optimize material creation, re-use, and localization.
- Develop and track key metrics for process optimization, providing periodic dashboards and reports.

Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or internationally recognized qualification related to the service area.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in content management processes for a multinational pharmaceutical company or creative agency.
- Experience with electronic tools such as Veeva Vault or other DAM for content management.
- Familiarity with metadata standards and classifying systems.
- Strong computer aptitude and the ability to learn systems quickly.
- Excellent proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Project management experience with cross-functional teams.
- Experience delivering services in Shared Services or Global Business Services environments.
