About This Role
As the HR Business Partner Spain and Labor Relations Manager Iberia Cluster, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the people agenda across Spain and Portugal while driving key HR initiatives that align with the company's strategic goals. This role is integral to designing and implementing strategies to attract, retain, and engage talent in collaboration with the Head of HR Iberia. You will lead labor relations projects and manage HR operations while ensuring compliance with local regulations. As a trusted advisor, you will coach and support leaders, translating business strategies into organizational priorities and driving alignment. You will also oversee the execution of HR projects related to engagement, wellbeing, talent, and culture while fostering collaboration across regional and global teams based in the Spanish affiliate.

What You'll Do
Talent & Performance, and Compensation
- Oversees talent management processes including performance evaluations, succession planning, and onboarding. Supports compensation cycles (salary reviews, promotions, bonuses, LTIs, benefits) in coordination with global partners. Advises managers on employee development. Leads early-career initiatives such as training contracts and the BioRace trainee program.
Culture & Inclusion
- Acts as advisor to promote culture and inclusion internally and externally. Partners with global teams and ERNs to build a strong inclusion framework. Uses diversity metrics to drive action and accountability. Leads local equality initiatives and manages gender salary registry reporting.
Business Partner
- Serves as HR point of contact for managers and teams on HR and labor matters. Provides strategic HR guidance and ensures operational compliance. Supports global/regional teams based in the affiliate. Implements global policies locally and drives regional alignment.
Training & Development
- Identifies development needs and supports implementation of training programs. Coordinates regional and global training initiatives.
Recruitment
- Supports hiring processes with internal teams and external TA partner. Manages intern recruitment and academic partnerships, especially for BioRace.
Project Management
- Leads HR projects focused on culture, EVP, compensation, and performance. Designs and executes the Cluster Engagement Plan and supports survey follow-up. Promotes environmental compliance and sustainability.
Internal Communication
- Develops and implements HR communication strategies. Manages HR-related content and visibility on internal platforms.
HR Ongoing Processes
- Coordinates outsourced payroll and benefits administration. Acts as main contact for legal updates and employee inquiries. Supports compliance in hiring, offboarding, and contingent workforce processes.
Organization
- Maintains organizational charts and HR databases. Aligns local structure with business needs and audit requirements.
People Relations
- Provides guidance on labor relations and compliance in Spain and Portugal. Updates policies in line with labor law and liaises with legal advisors. Leads Health & Safety initiatives and supports Works Council relations. Ensures compliance with social integration requirements and audits.

Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in HR departments as a specialist or generalist, including at least 3 years as an HR Business Partner.
- Solid expertise in labor relations and compliance with local labor laws.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English. Portuguese is a plus.
- Experience working in multinational companies; pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus.
- Proven ability to lead HR projects and initiatives with measurable outcomes.
- Knowledge of legal frameworks and experience managing individual and collective people relations issues.
- Proficiency in managing payroll processes and HR operational activities.
- Sound business acumen and judgment.
Preferred Skills
- Master's degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Experience with Works Council and collective labor frameworks.
- International mindset with the ability to navigate complex, cross-cultural environments.
