Director, U.S. Value Access Strategy, Neuropsychiatry Franchise
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of U.S. Market Access Value Strategy to lead and execute market access strategy, marketing, and operational initiatives for a new medication for the treatment of Post-Partum Depression (PPD). This role is instrumental in ensuring optimal patient access, reimbursement, and continuity of care from prescription to dose. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of U.S. market access dynamics and has hands-on experience navigating the complexities of specialty distribution and patient access programs.
This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of bringing innovative therapies to patients while shaping access strategies from the ground up. You will join a purpose-driven team that values innovation, collaboration, and patient-centric thinking.
What You'll Do:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute comprehensive market access strategies to support the neuropsychology brands across commercial and government payer segments.
- Lead cross-functional planning and execution across payer, provider, and patient access channels to optimize the brand's uptake and adherence.
- Define and drive the contracting strategy in collaboration with pricing, legal, and finance to align with market dynamics and brand goals.
Market Access Marketing
- Lead the development and oversight of market access marketing tools and payer value propositions tailored to key customer segments (e.g., payers, PBMs, and specialty pharmacies).
- Partner with brand marketing to ensure access-related messaging is integrated across HCP and patient campaigns.
- Oversee the creation of payer education materials, value decks, and reimbursement support tools.
- Monitor evolving reimbursement and policy landscapes and integrate insights into access strategies.
Operational Excellence
- Work closely with Trade & Distribution to ensure distribution models support optimal patient access and minimize disruptions.
- Collaborate with the Patient Access and Distribution teams to streamline the Rx to Dose journey, identifying and removing friction points in the access process.
- Partner with all field teams to monitor performance, resolve escalations, and enhance real-time support models.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as the primary market access lead in cross-functional brand teams, ensuring access considerations are integrated into launch and lifecycle plans.
- Collaborate closely with Insights & Analytics to track access KPIs, understand patient journeys, and inform strategic decisions.
- Support the development and execution of training for internal stakeholders and field teams regarding access strategy, tools, and messaging.
Who You Are
The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in payer marketing, pricing, trade & distribution, and pharmacy benefit models, with a proven ability to drive results through collaboration and broad commercial strategic thinking. This role requires a hands-on leader who can operate both strategically and tactically to deliver impact across the full market access spectrum.
Skills You Will Need
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, PharmD) strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical market access, pricing, reimbursement, or related commercial functions.
- Proven experience leading access strategy for specialty products brands, preferably with complex fulfillment models.
