About This Role:
As the Associate Director of Program Management within Global Commercial & Medical IT (GCM IT), you will play a pivotal role in driving success across highly complex, cross-functional programs and initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Portfolio Management and Operations, you will oversee a small team of Project Managers, ensuring the delivery of impactful projects within budget, on time, and with exceptional quality. Your responsibilities will include consolidating portfolio-level reporting, supporting governance processes, and managing annual budgeting and month-end financial close activities. By collaborating with IT stakeholders and the GCM leadership team, you will ensure that projects and programs align with business goals and deliver meaningful outcomes. What You'll Do:
- Lead highly complex cross-functional projects and programs, including product launch programs and other signature initiatives.
- Consolidate project and program-level reporting into a portfolio-level view to ensure alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Support month-end portfolio reporting, including financials and other key metrics.
- Oversee and manage a small team of Project Managers, providing coaching, guidance, and removing blockers.
- Actively drive large programs to ensure cross-functional alignment on scope, schedule, resources, and budgets.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including leadership teams and financial partners, to ensure accountability and timely completion of deliverables.
- Facilitate integrated plans, communications, and RAID logs across teams to streamline processes and improve outcomes.
- Review financials for the GCM IT portfolio, ensuring accuracy and adherence to published financial calendars.
- Identify and escalate key decisions needed across complex programs to the appropriate parties.
- Create processes for consolidating portfolio-level reporting by aggregating data points across projects and programs.
- Communicate financial status, schedules, risks, issues, and changes effectively to all stakeholders, keeping them informed on a regular basis.

Required Skills:
- A Master's degree in Information Technology, MBA, or other relevant advanced degree (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of experience as an IT professional managing projects, programs, and/or portfolios in the Pharma-Biotech industry.
- 5+ years of experience implementing complex, cross-functional projects and solutions within established software development life cycle methodologies.
- Significant program leadership experience in Pharma-Commercial and/or Pharma-Medical IT projects preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and process orientation with attention to detail.
- Proven financial discipline and accountability for deliverables in line with the agreed operating model.
- Ability to manage shifting priorities, demands, and timelines effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience creating and implementing portfolio-level reporting processes.
- Strong coaching and team leadership capabilities.
- Expertise in RAID log management and cross-team facilitation.
- Ability to manage cross functional, complex programs.

Additional Information
The base compensation range for this role is: $157,000.00-$216,000.00
Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
