Associate Event Manager- Travel Team 

Job Title: Event Manager 

Reports To: Assistant Account Manager / Account Manager / General Manager / Regional Director 

Compensation: $50,000 - $55,000 / year
Location: Travel 90%

Job Summary: 

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Event Manager to oversee event operations and support day-to-day administrative and hiring tasks for our crowd management and security services. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of events while maintaining operational excellence on non-event days. This is a great entry-level opportunity to build a career in the sports and entertainment industry. The Event Manager will gain hands-on experience at a wide variety of events across the U.S.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

Event Operations Management: 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact during event days, ensuring smooth operations and addressing on-site challenges in real-time. 

  • Coordinate with event staff, security personnel, and client representatives to deliver exceptional service. 

  • Implement and enforce crowd management protocols, safety procedures, and company policies. 

  • Monitor staff performance and provide direction or support as needed during events. 

  • Conduct post-event evaluations to identify successes and areas for improvement. 

Hiring & Administrative Support: 

  • Assist with recruitment efforts, including conducting interviews, onboarding, and coordinating new hire orientations. 

  • Manage staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage for events. 

  • Maintain accurate employee records and assist with payroll or timesheet submissions. 

  • Support the development and implementation of training programs to enhance team performance. 

  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives in hiring, staffing, and operational workflows. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 1–3 years of professional-level experience required. Prior experience in security, event staffing, law enforcement, and/or military preferred. 

  • Minimum of one year of previous experience in customer service, security, or a related field. 

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights (event evenings & overnight shifts), and holidays. 

  • Ability to monitor company communications and respond to time-sensitive matters with clients, staff, and senior executives. 

  • Strong judgment and discretion, with the ability to escalate matters appropriately. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in English. 

  • Adaptability to changing priorities and operational needs. 

  • Ability to pass a background check. 

  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 90% of the time. 

Physical and Mental Demands: 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk, or hear. They may be required to stand or walk for extended periods (up to 10 hours), climb, stoop, bend, or reach above shoulders. This position may require work in confined spaces or varying outdoor weather conditions. Must occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 45 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
