We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Manager to lead all marketing efforts for Ventures Endurance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and managing the marketing budget, overseeing marketing campaigns, and maintaining relationships with key vendors. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to enhance the runner experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Budget Management: Create and manage the marketing budget, encompassing core marketing expenses and marketing dollars for all events. Ensure spending remains in check and is allocated effectively.
- Marketing Leadership: Lead all marketing efforts for Ventures Endurance, including deciding where all marketing dollars are spent and monitoring registration trends to adjust marketing efforts as needed.
- Vendor Relationships: Maintain relationships with outside vendors.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other Ventures Endurance teams (Design Team, Race Directors, Sponsorship, Volunteer, Expo, Groups) to ensure all important information and assets are flowing to the marketing team. Identify potential communication gaps and improve them to enhance the runner experience.
- Project Management: Collaborate with the project manager to plan registration openings and promotions. Determine timelines, discounts, and special activation items.
- Sponsorship Alignment: Work with the sponsorship team to ensure sales align with capabilities and provide reporting.
- Ad Placements: Work with team members on ad placements, including Meta, TikTok, and Google. Provide feedback to optimize campaigns, make budget adjustments, facilitate conversations with reps, and troubleshoot platform issues. Plan and execute direct mail campaigns.
- Invoicing Management: Manage invoicing for ad spends, tools, print, videography, content creators, etc.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in marketing management, preferably in the endurance sports or events industry.

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $55,000and $81,000. Variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and union representation, if applicable.
