Job Description:
This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, coding solutions, unit testing, and ensuring the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces. Job expectations include an awareness of development and testing practices in the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
- Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements
- Performs Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) activities
- Contributes to story refinement and definition of requirements
- Participates in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle
- Contributes to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause
- Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of applicable experience
- Strong experience with Adobe Experience Manager Front end development with a focus on modern techniques and approaches
- A solid understanding of JavaScript, Responsive Web Design, MVC, BEM, OOCSS, Event Delegation, Modules, Mixins, Publish/Subscribe, XHR, Server-side vs client-side, etc.
- A solid understanding of AJAX and how to fetch data from a service endpoint that can be used to render dynamic web content
- Experience with GIT distributed version control, branching/merge strategies, and Bitbucket
- Experience with Front End and accessibility tools: Devtools, Web Fiddler, Visual Studio (or preferred IDE), JAWS, Voiceover, Talkback
- Comfortable reviewing a UX wireframe and building corresponding UI efficiently; Works with UX partners and identifies design risks proactively to deliver applications for high-traffic websites
- Familiarity with frameworks like React.JS
Desired Qualifications
- Agile development workflow.
- Experience with a modern JavaScript component framework such as React, Vue.
- Experience working in a large corporate IT environment with software tools used for design, build, test & debug.
- Experience with Accessibility / ADA / WCAG compliance.
- Enterprise exposure in Defect resolution up and down UI chain, (examples: HTTP headers to AJAX failures, to OS browser anomalies).
