The Team:
CFO Data Management (CFO DM) is responsible for ensuring data is timely, accurate and complete with respect to Bank of America's Treasury Function's needs and use cases. This role forms part of the Treasury Data Management Controls Team.
The CFO DM Controls Team is a horizontal function with three key areas of focus: execution of daily and monthly data quality controls, manual adjustments to address data issues and month end reconciliations to ensure complete and accurate data to downstream data consumers accountable for the adherence to regulatory mandates. The role will have responsibility for the month end reconciliations for GRIFFIN including expanding coverage to include Merrill Lynch International, presenting month end results to stakeholders in GRR and GFC, driving root cause analysis for breaks and remediation of these.
Role Description:
The role will have responsibility for the month end reconciliations between GRIFFIN (EMEA Regulatory reporting platform) and the general ledger. The reconciliation will cover the following entities/branches: BofASE, BofAE DAC, BANA London and MLI.
Responsibilities:
- Expanding legal entity coverage to include a month end reconciliation for Merrill Lynch International
- Supervising the reconciliation team who are based in India
- Presenting month end reconciliation results to stakeholders including EMEA GRR, legal entity CFOs, and other key stakeholders
- Driving root cause analysis for month end breaks collaborating with CFO DM Product SMEs, GBAM Finance and business partners on data needs, upstream data sourcing, and remediation
- Coordination of escalation to address exceptions, threshold breaches and data quality/data gap remediation.
- Work with CFO DM GRIFFIN controls team to improve/remediate manual adjustments for data gaps identified by the reconciliation process
- Engage and build relationships with business and technical stakeholders at varied levels to align on key objectives and provide data control oversight and proactively escalate and mitigate risk. Ensure adherence to applicable policies.
- Operational Excellence - enhance CFO DM processes through identification and analysis of processes and own the delivery of solution(s).
- Develop a strong knowledge of CFO DM Controls processes and how they link to stakeholder (GRR) daily/monthly reporting.
- Ensure processes, procedures and routines are well documented and followed consistently.
- Support Audit and Regulatory requests.

Skills that will help:
• Knowledge and prior experience with Regulatory Reporting
• SQL experience querying large sets of data
• Basic knowledge of Tableau and/or Alteryx
• Product knowledge and experience of end to end trade bookings
• Data Management experience
