Job Description:
This job is responsible for tax planning, advisory, forecasting, and compliance activities. Key responsibilities include complying with tax reporting requirements for various government jurisdictions, researching tax issues and developing effective tax optimization strategies, and supporting the achievement of business objectives by collaborating on activities and projects with teammates and partners throughout the enterprise. Job expectations include leading projects, coordinating resources and leading partner relationships.

LOB Job Description:

This role will cover a variety of needs within the Enterprise Tax Planning group, including: addressing Bank of America's responsibilities under Pillar 2 regime; cross-border Transfer Pricing requirements and methodologies; cross-border taxation; and Corporate Alternative Minimum Tax (CAMT). Support of various business partners in these coverage areas is expected, as is understanding and applying emerging legislation and regulations that impact Bank of America in these coverage areas.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzes and interprets tax laws and regulations
• Assists in the preparation of tax planning and compliance strategies
• Prepares and reviews federal, state, and local tax returns
• Researches and analyzes tax issues
• Supports the preparation of tax compliance and reporting requirements
• Prepares and reviews tax estimates and projections
• Identifies and implements process improvements

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in either Corporate or Public Accounting with emphasis on Corporate Taxation

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Accounting on a CPA track or a law degree
  • International or Cross-border taxation experience
  • Transfer pricing experience
  • Familiarity with OECD (Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development) Pillar 2 requirements

Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Accounting
