Job Description
Japan Asset Services team are responsible Corporate Actions events relating to Japanese Equity and Foreign Equity products. The position is to be a specialist in manages the Corporate Actions processes and control where he/she will have the exposure to deal with Traders, Stock Loan counterparties, exchanges and day to day for managing various tasks such as Corporate Actions notification, election and entitlement management, handling client queries, reconciliation the balances, escalation and breaks solution.
Responsibilities
- Corporate Action process in an accurate, timely and consistent manner
- Ensure highly robust control over all daily tasks
- Manage internal and external stakeholders on Corporate Action issues
- Accountable for reconciliation breaks in accounts on a daily basis and ensure timely clearance
- Ensuring that all queries are attended to and investigated promptly
- Supporting change by assisting in devising and implementing improved processes
Requirements
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure while adhering to tight deadlines
- Strong team player and ability to work well independently and collaboratively with peers and stakeholders
- Attention to details and the ability to process tasks accurately and in a timely manner
- Control focused with a good understanding of risks and the impacts of errors
- Proficient in using Excel and other MS applications
- Business level in written and spoken English / Japanese
- Background in Securities Operations is preferable
