Process Overview

The Global Trade Settlements team seeks to provide first-class support service to its various internal/external clients. The Settlement teams are split in varied locations across Chester, Singapore, Charlotte and India and responsible for managing the trade cash flow settlement on T+1/T+2 and also oversee end to end reconciliation of settlement breaks. Also role demands, active participation in new business initiatives and partner with all the internal/external stakeholders for smooth functioning of the process.

The incumbent in this role will act as Settlement Specialist in India for Global Fixed Income & Equity Settlements

This role is primarily responsible for managing cash flows settlement for Fixed Income & Equity OTC Derivative trades as per the SLAs outlined by the Line of Business. The role also demands support to various process related project initiatives, stakeholder management, risk management, handling escalations, addressing queries of settlement & investigations teams.

Responsibilities

  • Primary responsibility would be to do the client outreach for settlement confirmation and settling trades before the cut off time
  • Working closely with all the internal/external stakeholders
  • Anticipates risks and obstacles and devises plans to manage them

Requirements:

  • Education Post Graduate - Ideally Chartered Accountant or MBA Finance
  • Certifications If any : NA
  • Experience Range : 7-9 Years
