Job Description:
Account Specialists have advanced experience with multiple products across all stages of delinquency, including recovery and repossession and work in environments requiring advanced problem solving, negotiations, and coaching skills. They conduct special research and other project assignments. Primary responsibilities are repossession title work, customer service and other loss mitigation and recovery activities. Works with internal lines of business and external vendors. Account Specialists work in relationship-based collection environments. The specialist manages a portfolio of special assets, or portfolios usually consisting of less complex relationships, both secured and unsecured, and business loan losses. The specialist serves as a liaison to administrative areas within the bank. Ensures document compliance and security perfection as well as collateral monitoring/maintenance. Implements procedures to meet production deadlines, successfully executes service level agreements, manages relationships within the internal department and with business partners. They understand regulatory and compliance requirements that apply to Collections and able to work within these guidelines.

Responsibilities include:
Reviews and processes legal and title documents. Investigates daily incoming inquiries received from business partners; reviews to determine the best course of action for the account; validates and signs and/or notarizes the legal and title documents at our CVLC Jacksonville, FL location. May be responsible for working with the business partners and legal counsel to address any concerns and handle daily correspondence regarding the process and for performing quality reviews of the completed steps. Review to determine the best course of action for the account; ensure all previous validation and signature steps were completed properly.
Additional responsibilities could also include:
Review of legal templates, including direct communications with Internal Legal Counsel; Title Vendors, and Department of Motor Vehicles. Understanding and development of inline process reporting; procedure reviews and updates. Working knowledge of general bank policies, programs and procedures and financial/account practices.
Skills:
- Ability to be onsite to maintain and mail documentation daily.
- Vehicle titling experience
- Manage multiple tasks and proven track record of working independently.
- Required to sign, notarize, and maintain documents in person at our CVLC Jacksonville, FL location
- Ability to identify and escalate issues and opportunities within a process.
- Demonstrate resourcefulness to resolve issues.
- Ability and eagerness to learn
- Navigate between multiple systems and tasks
Desired Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong evidence of leveraging analytics to drive business results
- Previous Process or Operations experience
- Demonstrated team player with the ability to work independently
- Quality Review experience
- College degree preferred
- Notary license preferred
Minimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
