Role Overview:
Are you passionate about innovative technology, storytelling, and connecting big ideas to real-world outcomes? Join our Incubation & Platforms team within the Office of the CTO as a Strategic Engagement & Planning Intern. In this year-round role, you'll collaborate directly with the Innovation Ecosystem Development Lead, playing a critical role in communicating strategic initiatives, shaping strategic narratives and stakeholder engagement plans fostering alignment and enthusiasm for innovation projects both across the Office of the CTO, and the wider organization.

Key Responsibilities:
* Help to develop clear, structured, and insight-driven narratives that articulate the "why" behind strategic decisions, innovation bets and platform initiatives tailored to both internal stakeholders and partners.
* Assist in building strategic plans and roadmaps, including synthesizing insights, creating frameworks, and helping structure recommendations that guide decision-making.
* Support the planning and coordination of engagement activities that build awareness, clarity, and buy-in around strategic initiatives.
* Work closely with the Innovation Ecosystem Development Lead to ensure consistency and strategic alignment in communications across various channels.
* Help map stakeholders, teams and capabilities across the innovation ecosystem. Surface interdependencies, clarify ways of working and identify alignment opportunities across the organizaiton.
* Engage with diverse teams such as Marketing, Research & Development, Practices, and Incubation and Platforms to gather inputs, refine messaging, and effectively represent information to stakeholders.
* Help track progress, organize materials, and prepare strategic briefings, workshops, and presentations that keep initiatives moving.
Qualifications:
* Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Communications, Strategy, Business, or a related field.
* Strong interest in technology, innovation, systems thinking, and strategic communications.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* Comfortable working with ambiguity, synthesizing information, and structuring big ideas clearly.
* Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
* Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
Preferred Qualifications:
* organizational systems, or technology-related fields.
* Familiarity with collaboration and content management tools like SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, or similar platforms.
* Experience in creating structured content (presentations, briefs, strategic decks) tailored to different audiences.
Pay Rate: $25/hour
