Role/Purpose:

A key member of the Global License Compliance (GLC) team that Protects Autodesk's Intellectual Property responsible for working through a large volume of License Compliance leads and opportunities to qualify, drive, and closeout. Drives a high level of customer compliance engagements such as usage reports, audit activities, ensuring a commercial resolution while retaining customers, adding net new customers from a non-paying user base, and growing their Annual Order Value (AOV). Accounts worked will vary across various vertical markets. May require at times to work closely with internal & external team members on compliance matters. Responsible for meeting, exceeding, and forecasting assigned territory's quarterly and annual License Compliance sales goals.

Principal responsibilities:

  • Works through a large volume of license compliance leads - speaking with customers daily and engaging with C-Level decision makers to uncover the compliance issues using highly developed anti-piracy telemetry and analytics tools
  • Ensures customer understands the Intellectual Property or contractual violation at hand, negotiate a resolution and timeline and agree on a mutually agreed commercial closure
  • Initiates usage reports, warning letters or audit requests with Autodesk customers and leads customers through the compliance or audit process, presents the non-compliance through usage data or audit findings and negotiates the resolution
  • Engages customers at the CXO level to gain their cooperation and participation in License Compliance. Demonstrates the ability to deliver difficult messages and negotiate around non-compliance matters
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of telemetry and audit reports to be able to leverage these in engaging customers to articulate compliance issues and risks; and compel an investment in new Autodesk software
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of Autodesk software licensing models and administration, and have basic knowledge of Autodesk products, industry trends, customer outcomes and project delivery methods
  • May provide customer direct quotes to satisfy compliance purchases
  • Develop and manage pipeline of license compliance opportunities and activities in SFDC
  • Collaborate effectively across multiple teams at Autodesk (Territory, Strategic Territory and/or mid-market sales, Technical Specialists, Customer Success, Channel Management, and Legal) to ensure alignment on License Compliance engagements

    Minimum Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years relevant experience- (i.e. Sales Support, License Compliance, Inside Sales or Maintenance / Service Renewals experience is all highly relevant)
  • At least 1 year of Sales experience
  • Fluent Japanese ability and daily conversation or better written and verbal English Language skills
  • Excellent oral communication and writing skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in team environments and can manage multiple priorities
  • Highly proficient computer skills including internet, SFDC, email, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

    Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree- Business Management or related preferred
  • Previous License Compliance, Inside Sales or Renewals experience
  • Understanding of software licensing models, license agreements and contracts. Previous experience dealing with principles, owners and executives in sales situations and/ or collections
