Position Overview
Autodesk is looking for a Software QA Engineer to join our team focused on shaping the future of Factory Design solutions in Autodesk Fusion. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, we are looking for a person who is enthusiastic about delivering innovative web applications targeted at Factory Design and Simulation. In this hybrid role, you will have experience in developing test strategies and quality validation paradigms for web applications.
Autodesk Fusion is an ecosystem of client and server components, next generation web client, SDK and Cloud services with a variety of integrations with world leading products such as AutoCAD, Inventor and Revit.

Responsibilities
- You will define test strategy that is inclusive of test automations, integration tests and customer experience validation
- You will work with the engineering team and software architect to define and ratify quality requirements
- Develop functional test cases that cover integration of components, APIs and end-to-end workflows
- Execute test plans for Performance, Resiliency, Scalability and Security in collaboration with software developers
- Coordinate test events with other teams for a broad assessment of all dependencies
- Implement and publish relevant test and release readiness analytics that provide quality insights
- Participate in conducting code coverage analysis and estimation of testing tasks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and timelines
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in software development or quality assurance with proficiency in web frameworks
- Experience in automation frameworks and tools such as Cypress, Cucumber, Lighthouse, JMeter
- Experience with test management and defect tracking systems such as JIRA, TestRail
- Excellent troubleshooting skills on complex software issues
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Familiarity with CAD concepts and Discrete Event Simulation
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in a Scrum framework
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience testing Progressive Web Applications
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and data structures
- Experience with WebGL and 3D graphics testing
